Latest Coronavirus Statement from the Church of England.

A Risk Assessment is now complete and has been accepted by the PCC, St James Church in Burnopfield will now be open for private prayer on Wednesdays from 2-3pm and Saturdays from 10-11am. This is subject to social distancing so only 6 people can be in the building at once for prayer, and does require the use of Hand Sanitiser on entrance and exit to the building. Other guidance is also offered for your health and safety – and please note that the toilet will not be available for use at this time.

Every Tuesday at 5pm, from the St Margaret’s Church Tanfield Facebook page – Evening Prayer

Every Thursday at 5pm, from the St James’ Church Burnopfield Facebook page – Evening Prayer

 Every Sunday at 10am, alternating from week to week between the two Facebook pages – a Service of Holy Communion

Every Sunday at 7pm, alternating from week to week between the two Facebook pages – Compline (Night Prayer)

    A Church Outing to Durham is planned for 19th October . Hoping to leave Burnopfield at around 10am and returning from Durham at 3.30pm, a coach will take people to and from the Cathedral making it very accessible for people to be involved.
