This year’s Lent Course will be based on ‘Lent is for Loving by Sheila Cassidy and will run every Thursday, for about an hour, between 26^th Feb and 26^th March inc. All welcome!

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 2026

1.30pm on Friday 6th March at Life Vineyard Church, Marley Hill NE16 5DW. Prepared by Christian Women in Nigeria this Ecumenical Service will be presented by five local Churches including St. James. This year’s theme is: ‘I will give you rest: come’ (Matthew 11: 28-30). Please come and join a great wave of prayer with 146 countries praying with and for the country of Nigeria

Please note that the Electoral Roll will be open for revision between the 29^th March and the 12^th April inclusive. If you have any amendments to your current entry, wish to be removed or added from the roll, require a form to apply (over 16 and baptised), please speak to Daryl Smith during that period. The revised role will then be displayed in church for 14 days prior to this year’s APCM on 5^th May 2026. Thank you
