O God the King of glory, who hast exalted thine only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph unto thy kingdom in heaven: We beseech thee, leave us not comfortless; but send to us thine Holy Ghost to comfort us, and exalt us unto the same place whither our Saviour Christ is gone before, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.

Please come along and join us at the café church at the Church hall with refreshments being served from 10.30am.

We will be welcoming as the new Vicar of this parish Father Keith Freeman along with his wife Dionne (Dee) .The service will be held at St James Church in the afternoon.

Please note from the 6th July the Sunday morning service will commence at 11.15 am every Sunday. This will allow Father Keith to fulfill his commitments in the Parish.

Tickets can be ordered now through Norma Brown .

The church will be open throughout the day when anyone is welcome to come and meet Father Keith.

Prayer for St James

Gracious God, we remember before you today Your servant and apostle James, first among the Twelve to suffer martyrdom for the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that having constantly and generously followed Jesus we too may demonstrate our faith in our everyday lives.
